Our project centre works in straight contact with the paper makers and with the technical support centre, appraising the performances of the felts and eventually bringing in all the necessary adjustments in order to rejoin with their requirements and expectations.
Binet sul Liri makes use of an exclusive and evolved software able to scientifically calculate the features of the felt before this is produced so that to evaluate if the project selection will indeed satisfy the expectations.
This sotware,that we have called FELT ENGINEERING, is furtermore able to calculate the weight, thickness and permeability, as well as the dryness obtainable, the efficient pressure of the fibres on the paper, the deformation and the compressibility of each and every component of the felt, the interweave of the capillaries, the vacuum that will be achieved in of conditioning system, the optimal needling formula up to the quantity of needled fibre either inside the thickness than on the opposite side, with an automatic review of the felts' features in the function of the needling itself.
